What's in a name? 

His registered name “Phenix Dior” is French and it means “golden phoenix.” The phoenix part is for our previous stud, Zeus, was found to have heart disease and we had to neuter him. So, this gorgeous guy was the new life springing from the (figurative) ashes of Zeus and renewing our breeding program. The golden part is in reference to his father Dazzledots Iced Gold.
Phenix is a very handsome and extremely loving brown spotted male. His coat has a pleasant mix of warm and cool colors with bold two-toned rosettes that continue down nearly the full length of his thick, short tail. The stripes on all four legs are broken up into smaller spots which is highly desirable in the breed. He has a wide, brick-red nose surrounded by magnificent puffy whisker pads. Beautiful green/gold eyes, dark eyeliner, and partial tear lines give him a very similar look to his Asian Leopard Cat ancestors. Weighing in at roughly 13 lbs, this fairly large guy is incredibly muscular and powerful. Phenix has produced blues, snows, and charcoals!
