Double Grand Champion Alter
DGA Nemera Bon Que Dior
aka "Citrine"
What's in a name?
Her name “Bon Que Dior” means “as good as gold” in French. Her call name Citrine is the name of a semi-precious stone that is said to bring wealth to those who have it in their home. To us, Citrine is worth more than anything in the world! Her name also utilizes both line names from her parents.

Citrine is our absolutely stunning brown spotted SBT female Bengal queen. She is our first ever home-bred queen! Unfortunately, shortly after her first pregnancy, she contracted closed pyometra and had to be emergency spayed 12/24/2014. We decided to keep this stunning girl because she was so attached to her mommy (and vice versa). We started showing her as an alter. She got to Double Grand in just THREE shows — two as an alter as she already was Champion as a whole cat. She enjoys the attention and traveling with her buddy Erelae!
This nearly flawless girl has a short, tight pelt covered in large rosettes aligned in a nice horizontal pattern with hardly any vertical markings or stripes. Running a hand across her incredibly soft pelt feels as luxurious a fine silk. Her warm golden brown background with rich mahogany, orange-gold, and jet black markings all covered in Bengal glitter make her a glorious sight to behold. Small, rounded ears set perfectly on the head and beautiful, large golden eyes combined with a wide, brick-red nose and puffy white whisker pads give this domestic cat a very wild look. Her short tail of medium thickness hardly tapers and is rosetted at the base. Although Citrine appears to be a small, delicate creature she is quite heavy and very muscular. She is quick and agile and even walks like a wild cat with her hips slightly higher than her shoulders and her tail carried low. All that aside, her sweet and gentle purrsonality makes her even more amazing! See more pictures of Citrine on Facebook!
